Metallica

Metallica has released 4 songs from its newest album, “72 Seasons”. The songs are 72 Seasons, Screaming Suicide, Lux Eterna, and If Darkness Had A Son. These 4 songs arguably are the best 4 songs from one album the band has ever put out.We can’t wait for the full album release. However, if the full album is as good as the first 4 songs, this will be the best Metallica Album ever…by a long shot.

Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1981. The band’s original lineup consisted of vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Dave Mustaine, and bassist Ron McGovney.

In 1983, the band released their debut album, “Kill ‘Em All,” which established their thrash metal sound and earned them a loyal following. However, Mustaine was fired from the band soon after due to his substance abuse issues and personal conflicts with the other members. He went on to form the band Megadeth.

Metallica’s second album, “Ride the Lightning,” was released in 1984 and featured new guitarist Kirk Hammett. The album showcased the band’s musical growth and included songs like “Fade to Black” and “For Whom the Bell Tolls.”

The band’s third album, “Master of Puppets,” released in 1986, is considered one of the greatest metal albums of all time. The album’s title track and “Battery” became instant classics, and the band’s popularity continued to soar.

Tragedy struck in 1986 when Metallica’s tour bus crashed in Sweden, killing bassist Cliff Burton. The band was devastated but decided to continue with a new bassist, Jason Newsted.

In 1991, Metallica released their self-titled album, often referred to as “The Black Album.” The album showcased a more mainstream sound and featured hits like “Enter Sandman” and “The Unforgiven.” The album became a massive commercial success, selling over 16 million copies in the United States alone.

Over the years, Metallica has continued to release albums and tour, and their influence on heavy metal music cannot be overstated. They have sold over 125 million records worldwide and have won numerous awards, including nine Grammy Awards.

In addition to their music, Metallica has also been involved in various charitable causes, including donating money to disaster relief efforts and founding the All Within My Hands Foundation to support workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other causes.

Despite some lineup changes and controversies over the years, Metallica remains one of the most iconic and influential heavy metal bands of all time.
