100% match for up to $50,000 in donations.

In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season it’s easy to lose sight of what matters most.

GIVING TUESDAY

This Giving Tuesday let’s choose to make a global difference by supporting the COMMON Foundation, a not-for-profit serving the philanthropic interests of COMMON, its members, and external partners including individuals, families, companies, foundations, philanthropists, and social and environmental entrepreneurs.

DOUBLE THE IMPACT

COMMON Foundation’s Founder and President, Dr. Matthew King, and his wife, Lina Barrera, will match up to $50,000 worth of donations made to the COMMON Foundation through the end of 2021. More than a specific amount, we’re looking for Advisory Board members, supporters, and grassroots donors to demonstrate our collective commitment to our shared vision.

Join the movement and make a donation knowing it will go double the distance.

All donations are tax deductible. See here and below for WAYS to DONATE

About the COMMON Foundation

Established by Dr. King in 2007 and rebranded after formally partnering with COMMON in 2018, the COMMON Foundation combines the power of an incubator with philanthropy and social entrepreneurship to support, promote and develop non-profit ideas and organizations in the US and abroad for the benefit of people, planet, and peace.

COMMON Foundation has launched dozens of foundations, non-profits, projects, and programs since 2007 in the United States, Africa, and Latin America.

Our collective efforts have led to the launch of a wide range of ideas benefiting people, planet, and peace: COVID19 Community Relief; educational scholarships for minority and underserved students and teachers; immigrant legal advocacy; sustainable agriculture; disaster relief and emergency assistance; Water, Access to Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); support for film, the arts and cultural programming; establishment of our first Artist in Residence program; post-conflict peacebuilding through natural resource management; climate change and resource conservation; among others.

After a decade of experience in the non-profit sector and research and development, we have expanded our services to include: fiscal sponsorship for non-profit projects, donor advised funds, conducting philanthropic advising, setting up scholarship programs, conducting legacy research and development, developing non-profit strategies, and we offer a full suite of consultative services for people, planet, and peace.

Increase your gift to the COMMON Foundation —and your tax deduction—with one simple strategy. Donate securities.

Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to the COMMON Foundation. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction. Speak with your tax adviser about the benefits of donating securities and then get in touch with us and we’ll do the rest.
