Let’s start by telling us about your business.
I write and publish articles covering healthy eating with a focus on counting and tracking macros. Apart from my free content and fitness calculators I also have written a counting macros course called the Macro Solution as well as offer personal online nutritional and fitness coaching.

- Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?
First, I don’t hide all my information behind a paywall. I provide a lot of free resources on my website as well as engage will visitors in the comment section of my various articles. Secondly, I believe that every email that I receive is priority so I do my best to answer questions from my clients in a timely manner and take time to respond in a way that answers their questions thoroughly.

The personal attention and expertise while at an affordable price. Others in the same field do a bait and switch where they promote themselves as a coach but then once people sign up, they are transferred to a different person who doesn’t have an established reputation or exercise. I personally work with each client who signs up and keep my fees affordable.

Building the groundwork. I spent years writing content and developing Healthyeater.com before I ever tried to sell anything. Reputation as an expert is crucial and taking time to establish that first is the key to success in this industry.

- For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?
Be patient and spend time doing the hard word that doesn’t produce an instant return on investment. Very few people are instantly successful and this is by a far an exception. Most people who are successful have spent years developing a product or a service.

Perseverance and adaptation. I’ve had many setbacks and challenges over the years but learning to keep going through the lean times and adapt to changing trends and market conditions is key.

Since much of my business depends on online search, I stay up-to-date concerning SEO and best practices. I also pay attention to trends that are happening in the nutrition and fitness space.

My customers are the foundation of my business so keeping them happy and satisfied is of utmost importance.

It enables us to live healthier lives by giving us practical tools that we can use everyday to track our nutrition as well as our fitness.
