BTG Pactual partnerd with Velotax a company that enables income tax calculations for cryptocurrency investments on its patorm.
Brokerage clients under BTG will access DARF generation platform. All BTG brokerage clients will have access to the DARF generation platform thereby facilitating the seamless payment of taxes from capital gains in accordance with Brazil’s Federal Tax Administration.
Since 2019, BTG Pactual’s crypto currency income tax calculator has been available for daily consultancy. This is quite a useful service since the Federal Revenue regulation which governs the cryptocurrency market demands accurate calculation and timely payment of taxes from cryptocurrency investors since the same 2019. With every capital gain from cryptocurrency posted monthly by investors, they are required to fulfill their obligations as stipulated by Federal Revenue regulation.
The BTG Pactual/ Velotax partnership is aimed at helping investors. Through Mynt by Velotax, investors can avoid double taxations and also enjoy tax exemptions as the case may be because the platform automatically identifies these unique cases where it exists.

BTG Pactual’s Head of Digital Assets André Portilho explained to Livecoin that the recent development aligns with the value proposition of the firm.
“The new assets are in line with our goals of offering products that are relevant and reputable in the crypto market and make sense within our value proposition, in addition to providing greater diversification and new investment opportunities for our clients,” Portilho explained.
Cryptocurrency Investors on Mynt may now trade with Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), Polkadot (DOT), Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), Polygon (MATIC), USDC, SAND, MANA, Aave, Curve, Lido and Uniswap on the platform.
