Aba Quansah is a banking industry professional and a finance expert with over five years of experience. She specializes in risk management and compliance but is knowledgable in other aspects of the banking industry. Aba has had an illustrious career, starting at U.S Bank where she worked for two years. She took a leave from U.S Bank at around September 2010 and joined MV Transportation for a stint of about a year and a half working as a reconciliation specialist. Aba later returned to the banking industry as a Fraud Analyst II at Bank of America. She held this position for about a year before leaving for Capital One to work as an AML Investigative Analyst. She spent two years working in this position and through her hard work and dedication, was promoted to AML Senior Investigator, a position she held for just about over four and a half years. Here, she gained valuable experience and knowledge before making her most recent move to Citi, where she now works as the AVP Senior Compliance Analyst. Her career progression and growth have been spurred by her extensive academic background and her passion for finance. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and is CAMS certified. Over the years, she has also acquired soft skills such as written and oral communication as well as Microsoft Office Application and Database Management skills. She also holds membership in the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.
Let’s start by telling us about your business.
I am a risk management expert, and have largely been exercising my skills in the banking industry.
Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?
I always give my all in everything I do. It has always endeared me to the people I have worked for.
Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?
I would credit that to passion. I love finance and always find ways to meet my obligations in the best way possible. This always makes me stand out.
Q: And to finish this section, please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?
I would credit my success to passion, focus, and hard work.
Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?
Follow your passion. It’s your passion that keeps you going even in your lowest moments.
Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what one big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?
Never give up on your dreams. Keep pushing even during the hard times and you will make it.
Q: In today’s fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?
By always updating my skills. I never miss an opportunity to learn new things.

To live and be happy.

You have to know how to communicate in a way that inspires people to listen and follow you.

It can lower the cost of doing business and the ripple effects would benefit consumers.
