Let’s start by telling us about your business.

BellyMelly is a food ordering solution that provides users the ability to order from local restaurants and upon checkout the user selects a local charity in which BellyMelly will donate $1 to.

Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

What’s not to like? We have great technology; we work with great restaurants and at no cost to the customer every time they order they help raise money for a local charity.

Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?

Low processing rates and when you place an order at no cost to the user a $1 is given to a local charity.

Q: And to finish this section, Please tell us what is the one major key to your company’s success?

We have a great team that wants to build a company that can make a difference.

Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?

Be flexible and don’t be afraid to pivot. What you thought may be a perfect idea may not be and change may be the best next move

Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?

That there are always going to ups and downs and that you have enough resources to survive the down times so you can thrive in the up times.

Q: In today’s fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?

For me, it is important to go out and visit clients and see what is happening in real time on the ground. That way you can identify the issues and work to solve them.

Q: What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?

Because I love what I do!

Q: In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?

Identify talented people and give them the opportunity to grow.

Q: In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?

We all know the answer to this……..they are why we exist.

Q: In one sentence, describe a positive way that technology can make the world a better place?

Technology can help us become more efficient.

Be open to opportunity no matter how big or small, you never know where it might lead.

Lots of coffee!

I don’t look backwards and I keep moving forward.

Q: In one sentence, describe what your hiring philosophy is?

I am looking for individuals who are not afraid of working hard and not afraid of making mistakes.

The goal is to find a good balance to keep yourself fresh and focused
